In accordance with SCIOS information sheet 2 (version 1.4: 2020-10), the maximum thermostat must be functionally tested for switching value when performing PO, PI & EBI.
Extending to the switching value is not justified in every installation. In these cases an alternative test method is necessary.
NC Engineering B.V. has the expertise and certification for Maintenance - PO, Periodically Inspection – PI, First Basic Inspection for – EBI, Advise and Guidance on a new projects with regard to EN standards.
Basically, every new burner installation and fuel supply line, will need the EBI, within 6 weeks of commissioning.
